An apple flavored pellet designed to meet the needs of cria growth and female gestation and lactation. It provides the proper balance of protein, energy, vitamins, and minerals for the professional breeding operation.

Feeding Directions

As a starter feed at a rate of 0.33 – 0.50 lb per 50 lb body weight/head/day. Product is recommended as a supplement from 2 – 3 months through 9 – 12 months of age.

For Late Gestation and Lactation
Alpacas – Feed at a rate of 1.0 lb/head/day for the last 4 weeks of gestation and 1.0 – 1.25 lb/head/day for lactation. Feeding rate depends on alpaca size (150 lb average), forage quality, body condition score, and level of milk production.

Llamas – Feed at a rate of 1.25 – 1.50 lb/head/day for the last 4 weeks of gestation and 1.50 to 1.75 lb/head/day for lactation. Feeding rate depends on llama size (300 lb average), forage quality, body condition score, and level of milk production.

The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables of management, environment, and breed may dictate changes in the animals’ requirements.
